For the next two weeks we will collecting school supplies for our sister church, Watermark, in Troutman, NC. They use these school supplies as a part of their school outreach program at the beginning of the school year. The supplies are distributed to children during the Open Houses at the schools in the Troutman area. Watermark has a great opportunity to reach children and their families, and the supplies you provide are a critical part of this program! There are specials each week at most office supply stores, and stores like Walgreens and CVS too. Shop the specials and load up with your limits, and bring them with you to church and put them in the action packer in the entrance hallway.

On Sunday, January 17th, the people of The Park began collecting Rice and Water to ship to Haiti. Last Spring, we shipped a container full of rice and beans to Haiti following the flood devastation to the island country. As a church, we have sent numerous mission teams to Haiti, including some of our teenagers! This recent response to the earthquake is part of a continuing effort to show the love to Jesus to the people of Haiti. We will load this food and water onto the truck on Monday, January 25th, at 4:30pm.
