The cross is one of the most dramatic moments in human history, because God, who had willingly taken on human form, also willingly gave His life as the ransom for sin. It defies human understanding! Yet, even more monumental is what happened three days later, because the perfect Son of God was resurrected and appeared to His disicples...to numerous people...too many to be denied!
So, as Christians, we are People of the Resurrection! Our hope lies in the fact that death no longer has any power over us, because of the faithfulness of our Savior and our relationship with Him. Paul described it well in Romans 6:8-10:
8Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
Blessings to you, and we hope to...
